چکیده

Fushun oil shale semi-coke and its extracted bitumen were prepared for analyzing their pyrolysis characteristics by TG–DTG, TG–FTIR, Py–GC/MS. Semi-coke was the residue of pyrolyzed to 450 °C, organic matter from with [Bmim]Cl/NMP mixed solvents. Gaussian fitting method used analyze proportions bond cleavage reactions occured during 700 °C at a heating rate 20 °C/min. Results showed that 3–4 kinds cleavages mainly involved. The outstanding behaviors contributed CalCal weak bonds (including volatilization). kinetic parameters based on Coats–Redfern calculated points each stage reaction. evolution processes typical gaseous products distributions flash displayed in detail, exhibiting prominent roles aliphatic compounds, CH4, CO2. Moreover, releases tended occur higher temperatures.

Vaporization Parameters of Primary Pyrolysis Oil from Kukersite Oil Shale

The objective of this study was to obtain vapor pressure and heat of vaporization values of the less volatile heavy end of the Kukersite oil shale primary pyrolysis oil and therefore to have a quantitative insight into the vaporization ability of the oil during the pyrolysis process. The shale oil was produced via rapid pyrolysis in a laboratory scale reactor and collected in a solvent filled c...

Detailed kinetic analysis of oil shale pyrolysis TGA data

There are significant resources of oil shale in the western United States, which if exploited in an environmentally responsible manner would provide secure access to transportation fuels. Understanding the kinetics of kerogen decomposition to oil is critical to designing a viable process. A dataset of thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA) of the Green River oil shale is provided and two distinct da...

Sulfonation of phenols extracted from the pyrolysis oil of oil palm shells for enhanced oil recovery.

The cost of chemicals prohibits many technically feasible enhanced oil recovery methods to be applied in oil fields. It is shown that by-products from oil palm processing can be a source of valuable chemicals. Analysis of the pyrolysis oil from oil palm shells, a by-product of the palm oil industry, reveals a complex mixture of mainly phenolic compounds, carboxylic acids, and aldehydes. The phe...
